ANET Stopped banning Bots?
In JQ, I have faced this same bot for nearly a month. I can't post the name for forum guidelines. But, looks like ANET does not ban bots anymore.

They do.
They always just take a long time to ban PvP bots because they want to confirm that it really is a bot before they permaban. Its been like this for years. You'll see the same guy botting FA/RA/etc over and over again for a few months... and then *poof* ban stick. |

No. They were reported via in-game reporting mechanism.
However, the system should be if an account is reported by 25+ different individuals from different guilds over a period of 7 days, that account should receive a temporary suspension and ANET should review the past activities of this temp. suspended account. With JQ activity lopsided on Kurz Side, we are getting a lot of No-Ops. Last night, I gave up playing there after a while because team was getting 2 or 3 bots syncing in in one match. Now, that's ridiculous. This simply means the match is over before it even started. Now, the rough end of the deal is that you can't leave the match because you get 5 dishonor points and You can't play it the way you want to because of the bots. To make things worse, there are morons who don't know how to resign and they will rather report you instead of the bots. If ANET can't fix the botting problem, they better let me leave the match w/o being dishonored if there is a bot identified by multiple players in the team. |

Reporting via support does not help as well. But I think the problem is that not too many people report them via support. If they got more than 200 requests for one guy I do not think he will be around for so much time.

This happens to me too in Fort Aspenwood, the timer will get to the end and people will just stand in the same place for the whole game. It does get annoying but i report, as long as i get to play with my team and win thats all that matters to me. But it does seem that reports dont really do anything but it just might be me

I don't think anyone cares. Here is the response I received from support the last time I submitted a complaint:
Hello, We wish that we could personally monitor all PvP matches, but with thousands of battles occurring every day it is not possible. Although, there is a ???/report leeching??? feature that was included in the game to regulate this behavior. For this to work, we rely on our honest PvP players to use this feature. If enough players report another player as dishonorable, then the dishonorable player will not be able to compete in PvP matches for an hour. Please let us know if we can help you with anything else. I highly doubt you can say they seriously don't care. Of course they do. They simply list out why they can't - there's not enough manpower so they rely on a player feature as a compromise. That's why it was created.
To stop leechers in JQ, you pretty much have to lower the insane rewards they give along with getting players to report as to make it not worth leeching. The first part will generate complaints while players can't bother with the second part. |

I don't want to contribute to a game that has a botter that results in a win. Because If I do it will mean in a way that I am helping botters succeed. |

I just simply add the bot to my ingore list and report them each time I get into a match with them, and I also add them to the leeching command, that one works sometimes but as far as them getting kicked for botting I have not seen it yet and most people dont understand they are botting the program let them just follow you around and not fight so they think they are just leeching when it is actually a program
